SIX CLUBSJN LEAGUE The Indiana Amateur Trolley league has completed the circuit and by the end of the week will have made final

arrangements for the starting of the

season. The league is a six-club af

fair, composed of the following teams: Deusseldorfers and Reserves of

Indianapolis, Richmond, Lebanon, Bluffton and Decatur. It has been decided to play on one week day as well as every Sunday, as some towns are much better for weekday games than they are on the holiday. The schedule will be drawn up this week.

MINISTERS IN SESSION

At the meeting of the Ministerial association, R. E. Diffendorfer, one of the secretaries of the Young People's Missionary society, which is considered a clearing house for about forty different missionary organizations, gave a short and interesting address. Ho showed the work of the society and the work it was accomplishing for missionary purposes. The Taylor lectures and the famine relief fund also were given due attention. The famine relief fund was shown to be small. Work in the rural districts Is moving slowly. A committee was named to

draft a set of resolutions in reference

to Sunday newspapers.

BIBLE SCHOOL DOES GOOD Y. M. C. A. WORK

Sunday was Y. M. C. A. day in the East Main Street Friends' bible school. They have an enrollment of about 130. The regular Y. M. C. A. pledge cards were put into the hands of every member. While all the pledges were not turned in, Sunday the total of those that were, amounted to $70. Next Sunday It will be completed and is expected to reach $100. This school and church announces each Sunday the amount raised up to date bp the individual pledges of its members. It is now $4,274, including M. C. Henley's conditional subscription.

New York, April 22. Benedict Gimbel, the millionaire Philadelphia merchant, died today as the result of his efforts on his life, after being arrested, charged with misconduct with a young boy. When arrested he tried to bribe the policeman to let him go. His sisters say he was suffering from insanity from overwork.

While freight train No. 79 was going: down Jackson's Hill near Centerville, Sunday night at a merry clip, a draw bar broke beneath one of the freight cars and seven of them were derailed, about the center of the train. Twb or three hundred yards of track was torn up but no other damage was done in that the cars remained upright. The wreck trains from Indianapolis and Richmond were called to the scene and only about twenty minutes were required to clear up the wreckage while the tracks were repaired so that regular trains would not be blocked. The accident occurred about 10: SO o'clock.
