MISS JULIE FLORENCE WALSH
WOMEN SUFFER Many women suffer in alienee and drift along from bad to worse, knowing well that they ought to hava immediate assistance. How many women do Ton know who are perfectly well and strong? The cause may be easily traced to some feminine derangement which manifests itself in depression of spirits, reluctance to go anywhere or do anything, backache, dragging1 sensations, flatulency, nervousness, and sleeplessness. These symptoms are but warning that there ia danger ahead, and unless heeded, a life of suffering or a serious operation is the inevitable result. The best remedy for all
these symptoms is Lydia E. Pin kli am 's Vegetable Compound made from native roots and herbs. No other medicine in the country has received such widespread and unqoalified endorsement. No other medicine has such a record of cures of female ills. Miss J. F. Walsh, of 328 W. 38th St., New York City, writes: "Lydla E Pinkham's Vegetable Compound has been of inestimable Talue in restoring my health. I suffered from female illness which caused dreadful headaches, dirziness, and dull pains In my back, but your medicine soon brought about a change in my general condition, built me up and made me perfectly well." Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound cures Female Complaint, such as Backache. Falling and Displacements, Inflammation and Ulceration, and organic diseases. It is invaluable in preparing for child-birth and during the Change of Life. It cures Nervous Prostration, Headache, General Debility, and invigorates the whole system. Mrs Pinkham's Standing Invitation to Women Women suffering from any form of female weakness are Invited to write Mrs. Pinkham. at Lynn, Mass. Her advice is free.

"If the people of the west had been allowed to settle the Reed Smoot case, it would have ended differently," said James Worrall in his talk to the American history class at the high . school. He said that most people do not live up to their doctrine, but the Mormons surely do, although there is nothing in it to life them up as in other doctrines. Every principle in their belief is foreign to American principles and they would change all these. The'y would, with their twenty-six high men rule the world, and as it Is, they have the power to carry out anything they wish. This was demonstrated very clearly, when, after the Smoot case, an amendment was Introduced in congress to prohibit polygamy among Mormons and It was promptly shelved by their
influence. j In the West they seriously Interfered with public schools, often taking a
half day each week to teach (heir doctrine to the children. The president of the Mormons issued this order and all teachers had to obey it. Their power ia shown by the latt election, when y,O0i democrats weri turned into republicans in order to support Senator Smoot. It was a very interesting talk and made plain many facts hitherto Tinknown to members of the class au-i visitors. Philip Worail. brother of the speaker, was present as visitor to the history class.
