Man Giving Name of William ' Woolford Held on Suspicion at City Jail.

HE HAD A COMPANION WHO ESCAPED TWO NEW BICYCLES OF THE NAPOLEON MAKE WERE ALSO IN THE CAR.

After making his arrest Golden searched the gondola and found two new bicycles of the Napoleon make, which were taken to police headquarters. It is thought thefe wheels were stolen either at Bradford. O.. or at Greenville. O. The police .have communicated with the authorities of these two places. Woolford refuses to make any statement concerning himself and he refuses to account for the presence of the two bicycles in the gondola car. It is believed that the man is badly wanted in various places to answer serious charges, and he will be held jintil detailed information concerning him has been obtained. month's growth of beard on his face and is roughly clothed.

tion, which will meet at Indianapolis this week. He is to deliver an address

on 'The Baker and the Square Deal."

Elaborate preparations have been

made for the convention, which promises to be the greatest in the history of

the organization. The convention headquarters will be at the Grand Hotel, and the "meetings will be held in

Masonic hall. The morning and aft

ernoon sessions will be devoted to the discussion of questions of Interest to the bakers and to the business of the

association.

On Tuesday evening there will be a

smoker for the men and a theater par

ty for the women In attendance. For

Wednesday evening a general theater

party has been arraigned, and the convention will close with a banquet

at the Grand hotel Thursday evening.

A prominent feature of the conven

tion will be a competitive display of

baked goods, for which handsome priz

es will be awarded. The entries will be made under the following heads: Bread, rolls, cakes, solid cakes, layer

cakes, ornamental cake work, cookies.
