The Indiana Intercollegiate Press
association was organized yesterday
at the Denison hotel in Indianapolis.
Delegates from three Indiana colleges, DePauw, Indiana and Purdue, were in
attendance, each school being repre
sented by three men. Officers were
elected and a permanent organiza
tion effected. A committee on
constitution reported and a constitu tion was adopted. College press clubs maintaining per
manent organizations are to be eli
gible to membership in the associa
tion. New clubs may be admitted at
the annual meetings on the unanimous concurrence of the several organizations. A press club is now being formed at Wabash College and it is probable that when this club gets into operation it will be taken in the association. Earlham College is considering the establishment of a press club, and with this and the addition of the new club which is to be formed at Butler college next term, the intercollegiate will be a formidable and effective
organization.

The spring term has opened at Earlham and everything is moving smoothly thus early in the term. This term is marked by the large number of district school teachers who have already made application for admittance to the school. Of course as the district schools have not adjourned for the, year as yet, there are no teachers in school, but a large number are expect
ed by the college authorities in two weeks. The courses offered during the
spring term are of such nature as to particularly appeal to the teachers. There was a small loss of students this term from various causes, but the total
enrollment will remain practically the
same as last term. Will Be a Busy Time. The spring term will be the busiest
of all terms and will mean the parting of the ways to many of the students. The seniors will be particularly busy, as with commencement ex
ercises upon their hands it will mean
no little amount of labor. Other so
cieties and organizations giving pub
lic exercises will also be busy.
