Don't Go Around Groaning. It Is Your Own Fault If You Contin ue to Suffer.

Vhy do you go around the bouse Complaining, making yourself and everybody else miserable? It is your

own fault if you suffer from Rheu

matism, Sciatica, Gout, or other pain

ful troubles that tome from bad

blood. Science has at last- found a complete and palatable cure for all

these diseases.

After years of careful study of the

cause and cure of such diseases,

KHEUMACIDE was discovered. KHEUMACIDE has been used in thousands of cases that were deemed incurable and has performed complete cures. RIIEUMACIDK has cured after famous specialists have failed, and has cured a number of sufferers who spent months at the noted Johns Hopkins Hospital in vain. The reason RHEUMACIDJE cures when liniments, oils and all other remedies have failed is that it goes right to the seat of disease, sweeps the poisonous germs and acids out of the blood, and removes the cause. It 'gets at the joints from the inside." RHEUMACIDB builds up the entire-system, and "makes' you well all over." Mrs.. Laura D. Gardner, of 1301 James', street Baltimore, was cured

Richmond polo fans are watching

with a great deal of interest the fight

now on among tne picKed up teams of the old Western league for the Horlick cup. The games began Monday night at Anderson and Logansport. It

would appear that there is not a popular demand for the game as the at

tendance at Anderson was but 1,200

and at Logansport only 1,000. It is

safe to say that the paid admissions at both places were considerably un

der 1,000. Anderson-Marion Game. In the Anderson-Marion game, the latter team won, by a score of 4 to 2, saved perhaps by goal tender Brannon

Although the revival meeting at the

Committee Wes Named.

At the 1906 congress held in India

napolis, a committee of ten was ap pointed to make overtures and foiniu

late a plan of closer relations between

the Baptists and the Disciples of

Christ, commonly known as the Chris

tian church. This committee will report at the conclusion of the three

days session at Cincinnati. Its re

port will advocate the merger of the two churches and it is probable that an agreement will follow, which, will within the next few jears bring about

a complete consolidation. In Favor of Union. Several of the leading Baptist min

isters and those of the Disciples

church favor the union of the two and think a few differences which now exist and which stand between the un

ion, should be set aside that a broad

er and better work might be accomplished. The convention will convene in the

Central Christian church Wednesdays-

Thursday and Friday of next Week. Three sessions will be held daily, at S and 9:30 a. m. and at 2:30 d. m. Preliminary to the convention a session of the American Christian Education society will be held Wednesday morning.

GOING AFTER RAILROADS.

Secretary Wilson Has Caused About

700 Indictments to Be Returned Against Them.

Since the passage of the twenty-

Wilson is going aftef the railroads

with a vengeance, and about seven hundred indictments have -been returned against western railroads in the past few weeks, for allowing rtock to travel in cars for more than twenty-

eight hours without food, water and

change of cars. Heretofore the rail

roads have been a little lax in obeying

such laws, w-hich were passed for the

Fountain City, March 26. Last Sunday on arriving home from church Mr. and Mrs. Chester Huddleson were very much surprised on going in to find about twenty of their friends, most of whom they-had spoken to a short time before at the church, Mr. Hall having purposely detained them to give time for their friends to arrive at their home first. Those presenttwere Mrs. Ruley, Dr. Griffis and wife, Robert Williams and wife, Joe Parish and wife, Albert Thomas and wife, Ray Huddleson and wife of Williamsburg. Chester Huddleson and wife, Evert Reynolds, Carl Williams, Ross Huddleson, Merril Huddleson, Guy Hall, Maud Williams and Grace Huddleson. A sumptous dinner was served. The day was spent in social conversation and music of different kinds. Mr. Hall gave several pieces on his phonograph.

The young daughter of a government officer whose duties keep him almost constantly on board ship between this country and Europe, tells an interesting tale of the use her father made of Nature's food remedy to cure an attack of malarial fever: "Father recently returned from a long sea-trip, bed-ridden and emaciated from an attack of malarial chills and fever," she writes: "In such cases people usually dose themselves with medicines, and we were surprised when he, instead of employing drugs, proceeded to devote himself exclusive

ly to Postum Food Coffee, of which he has long been fond. He used two or more cups at each meal, drinking it very hot, and between meals quenched his fever-engendered thirst at all hours of the day and night from a supply we kept in the water-cooler. For several days hi3 only drink and sometimes his only food was Postum Coffee, hot or cold, according to the

moment's fancy.

"Within a day or two his improve

ment was noticeable, and within a week he was a well man again, able

to resume hi3 arduous occupation.

"He first began to drink Postum

Food Coffee several years ago, as -a

remedy for insomnia, for which he

found it invaluable, and likes it so

much and finds it so beneficial that he always uses it when he is at home where he can get it" Name given by Postum Co., Battle Creek, Mich. While this man uses Postum as a remedv,

it is in no sense a medicine but only food in liquid form. But this is na
