Quaker Herb Extract PERFORNES MIRACLES. Two Darling Children Saved. Tipton, Ind., Jan. 2, 1907. T2entlemen: I wish to thank you for the good your Quaker Herb Extract has done my children. In fact I had about given up that worms were the cause of their poor health. Finally I purchased a bottle of the medicine and am not sorry. After I had given them a few doses, the worms first began to pass in small numbers, then in bunches, some were alive, some dead. In shape they were from an inch to two inches in length, white, sharp at both ends, about as large as a broom straw, some were smaller. My children are 2 and 3 years old, the eldest has been puny from birth, very nervous and fretted much. Both were raised on the bottle. Thanking you for past favors and sincerely recommending your medicine to my friends, I remain, Yours truly, A. C. HERRO.V, - . . . , 224 V. Jefferson Street. Every mother should read that letter again and then think what Quaker Herb Extract has done for this grateful family and will do for yours. j Quaker Herb Extract $1.00 per bottle; 6 for $5.00 Quaker Oil of Balm, greatest Liniment on Earth, Per bottle 25c. ALTHOUGH DEBRIS DID NOT TAKE FIRE, DRESSES WERE BURNED FROM MANY WOMENOTHER BUILDINGS DAMAGED. Greenfield, Ind., March 26. Twentysix persons were injured last night by an explosion of natural gas under a two-story brick building in which a moving picture exhibition was being given. The ground floor room was fitted a few weeks ago for a bijou the
ater by Frank Dowell, of Hartford City, and at once became a popular resort, particularly for women and children. The second floor was occupied by Mrs. Daisy Tapscott's millinery parlors. The bijou room was long and narrow, .with a lobby in front. A change of bill had attracted more than the usual crowds, 'and all were in the room that could get an entrance when the explosion occurred. There was a hissing sound, then a noise that was heard half a mile. The electric lights went out, women and children screamed, and dozens were piled in heaps inside the room. A Puzzling Feature. A puzzling feature is the fact that many persons were more or less burned when there was no blaze except
at the moment of explosion. Dresses were almost completely burned from several women and hair and eyebrows singed on nearly all who were in the wreck. The building is almost a total wreck. The entire south wall was blown out and the floors torn up. The partition at the front was thrown into the street. Buildings adjoining were badly damaged and plate glass windows a square away were broken. The cause of the explosion was the ignition of escaping gas in the cellar by a match, carelessly dropped through a grating by a boy.
