r and a Habit The Tablet Wins.

At the age of 22, Clarence had good

r Digestion. He had gastric juice that could dissolve doughnuts and turn ap-

r pie-skins into good blood corpuscles

i At the&gqQt 24 he began, to be pro- : fuse abontlthiB' waist and lean : back-

t r.ards. He also began to cultivate Several chins. In his new-found pride he began to think it his duty to gorge ; himself on everything, the good and -the bad, for appetite feeds on appe-

z lite and every good thing is abused. t-Z His pictures 'showed that he took

tn weight af tec; he put his collar on. At the age of 26 Clarence married

find went to boarding. On top of all . this,-he attended oyster suppers'and vine dinners, which reduced the size of hi3 collar from 16 to, 15. With ; ftill abiding faith In the strength of -liis stomach he gulped his meals, and ; Chewed them afterwards. I " At the age of 28 Clarence began to j tear an inward voice a warning from the stomach. After each meal, he

tvould feel bloated and belching became a habit. . He began, to be a light eater and a lieavy thinker. He tried to. think out

Willis meals-absolutely disgusted at the i thought or sight of anything to eat. J

He would sit down at his meals

tvithout the trace- of an appetite, juat

because it was time to eat.

He would often feel a gnawing, un

satisfied "still-hungry" feeling In his ftomach, even after he was through eating, whether his meal was well

cooked or not. ' '

i And he suffered a good many other

things with his stomach that he could not explain, but that made him

grouchy, miserable, out-o'-sorts and gjenerally sour on everybody and ev

erything. Finally he read an account, some thing like this, about the truly won

rderful results obtained from Stuart's

"Dyspepsia Tablets, in all cases of

Btomach trouble, dyspepsia, and so on

He bought a 50c box at the drug store nnd took the whole box. When he

started, he had Jittle faith and less appetite. When he finished he had absolute faith and more appetite, and more good cheer. x Things began to taste different and better to him. Now he has no more dyspepsia, no more indigestion, no more loss of ap

petite, brash, Irritation, Durning sensation, heartburn, nausea, eructations, bad memory, or loss of vim and vigor.

Remember, one ingredient or &tunrt's Dyspepsia Tablets will digest for you 3,000 grains of food, just as it did for Clarence. This relieves your stomach of the

Washington, March 22. Blue jack

ets and marines have been landed

from the United States gunboat Marietta at Trujillo and Ceiba and prob

ably at Puerto Cortez, Honduras, in order to protect American interests in those ports. Advices to this effect

were received today at the navy de

partment from Commander Fullman of

the Marietta, and they were at once transmitted to the state department.

As yet no word has been received as to whether forces have been landed at Central American ports on the Pacific coast side, but undoubtedly this step will be taken if American interests are considered in danger.

Situation in Hand. The navy department feels that the the action taken by Commander Fullman brings the situation completely in hand so far as the safeguarding of trade interests is concerned. In addition to the potection given to Americans, it is felt that he action of this government will relieve foreign governments of the necessity of taking any steps toward making a naval demonstration. The landing of blue jackets and marines and the effectual policing of both shores of the Central American Republic with United States gunboats before trading vessels had been molested in any manner or foreign interests jeopardized" is regarded here as a diplomatic move that will prevent any international complications growing out of the policy of the United States not to permit European demonstrations in Central American or South American waters.

OUTCOME IS FORTUNATE.

Pittsburg, Pa., March 22. Officials of the Pennsylvania railroad say the tracks east of Pittsburg were tamper

ed with by train wreckers near Stuart

station. A most rigid investigation is in progress.

At four o clock ths morning, while the New York and Chicago limited was speeding westward at 35 miles per hour the engine left the rails, dragging with it a mail car, baggage car and three Pullman sleepers. Three Pullman cars remained on the rails. Beyond a sever shaking up and rude awakening, no one was injured except the engineer and Tom Johnson, mayor of Cleveland, who " was badly shocked. Three cars were burned.

New York March 22. That all rail transportation should be declared by law to be interstate commerce and put under federal supervision is the start

ling remedy for the present and future

railway evils which is put forward by

Paul Morton ex-secretary of the navy,

president of the Equitable Life Assur

ance society and a former railroad chief. Mr. Morton said:

'"I consider that government owner

ship would be the most unfortunate

thing that can happen to the people of

the United States. I do not believe a republican form of government could survive the great responsibility and peril of government ownership. " 'Regardless of Wall street flurries

or changes in quotations in securities

this country is bound to continue to grow, and will probably double in population within the next thirty years,

which makes it absolutely necessary

that first class transportation facilities should be provided in order to keep pace with the natural growth of the

country. These transportation facilities can be furnished by the construc

tion of new railroads or by the improvement of those already in exist

ence. In either case great amounts of

capital will be required, and as capital

is timid there must be the same opportunity for a return on it when invested

in railroads as there is when invested in any other commercial undertaking. For this reason there should not be any

kind of vicious or unfair legislation

toward railroads, and I do not believe

there is any widespread desire on the part of the people of the United States to unjustly bear down on the railroads.

"Personally, I have for a long time thought that all transportation by rail should be declared as interstate commerce and placed under the control of federal supervision. It may be necessary to have a constitutional amendment to bring this about, although it is not impossible that the decisions of the higher courts may not also briug it about. In my opinion over 80 per cent of the railroad business of the United States is interstate commerce."

Washington, March 22. If Senator

it?" he was asked.
