Hog Prices Tumble. (March 19.) 'The quotations on hogs took another tumble and since the break in the market has been made, local dealers do not expect the market to find bottom soon, gradually sinking. Some say hogs will go considerably below the $6 mark. The cattle market although not suffering in the past few days, is expected to drop Wednesday. The provision market is quiet, demand meeting the supply. Wagon markets are changing some, quotations rising and falling but rone of the changes is great. THE LOCAL MARKETS. (The prices quoted below are those paid by J. M. Eggemeyer, Main &. Fourth streets, for produce, vegetables and fruits. This gives the farmers and gardners the accurate quotations for their products; also gives the merchants of the smaller towns the wholesale prices paid in Richmond on all fruits, etc., bought from commission men.) On one occasion he wag sent by his mother to borrow a flatiron of a neighbor. Tin good neighbor gave him the flatiron and at the same time offered him a piece of pie. "No, thank you. I don't want any pie," said the red faced boy as he started home. Halfway there the pi and his conscience were too much for him.
