Home of CN'les Howrcn Entered and the Authorities Are Led to Believe It was Same Gang Which Operated at Cambridge.
Cambridge . City, Ind., March 9 Last evening Marshal Drischel arrested two men aa suspects in the double robbery of the Wesley Cornell and Benton Wilson homes. Thursday night. After examining the three men. who gave good accounts of their actions, the marshal released them. It is thought now there is a gang of "yeggmen" operating in this part of the county. Wednesday night the home of Charles Howren, in Dublin, was ransacked , by robbers, but they

night Is that the same voracious ap-;to tne piaza in front of the

concerning him r
There are hundreds of thousands of people all over this blessed country of ours who have been cured of obstinate, chronic diseases through the cso of Dr. Pierce's Medicines and it is only natural that such people should ri.e tip And speak their sentiments pretty freely when Dr. Pierce and his medicine art to unjustly attacked.
In Chronic Nasal Catarrh, it is well to cleanse the passages two or three times a day with Dr. .Sage's Catarrh Remedy fluid, while persisting in the use of the "Golden Medical Discovery " for its blood cleansing and specific curative effects upon the diseased mucous mem brar.es. It will cure a very large per cent, of all cases.

and country village, and m tt farmhouses and mechanics' cottaees In overy nook and. corner of this great country. Common gratitude prompts sucb people to stand tip and defend Dr. Pi'rco and his medicines against unjust .and malicious attacks. Dr. Pierce's Medicines have, been on sale in drug stores all over this country and in many foreign lands for more than forty years and yet their sal continues to grow in a substantial and most gratifying way This could not be the case If tbev were not remedies of more than ordinary merit. WHAT DO THEY CURE ? Dr. Tierce's Favorite Prescription Is not tdvertised as a "Cure AH " but uumirably fulfills a singleness of purpose, being a superior and most positive remedy for one class of diseases only those easily recognized weaknesses, derangements, irregularities and painful disorders peculiar to women. It is a powerful, yet gently acting, invigorating, tonic and strengthening cervine. For weak, worn-out, over-worked women no matter what has caused the break-down. whether it bo from too frequent bearing of children or f row nuch worry, care, or over exertion of aay kind, "Favorito Prescription" will b found most efficient In building up the strength, regulating all the womanly functions, banishing pain and bringing about a regular and healthy, vigorous condition of the whole femafe system. Thus It corrects prolapsus, or falling of womb, retroversion, anteversien and other displacements of the female pelvic organs, due to weakness or over exertion, lifting or fatiguing over-work. In short, it makes weak women strong and sick women well. As to Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery it has a very large range of application, yet it U by no means recommended as a "Cure-All.- It possesses marvelous

" Marion, Ind., March 9. The "Wo
man in Black," a character who has long frightened women and children and men, has been captured. She was arrested yesterday by officer Noah McPherson of the police, and has confessed that she Is the woman
who. dressed in black and heavily
vei.c, has been seen in the highways and byways of Marion at unseemly hours of the night. She was found yesterday at the Big Four railway station, where she had taken possession of the women's waiting-room to sleep off the effects of the previous night's revelry. Sarah Upton is the name given by this strange character. She has no relatives and her condition Is deplorable. She formerly was the wife of William Thomas, of this city, but was divorced from him several years ago.
In recent years she has worked at
hotels a part of the time, but being addicted to the use of opiates could remain nowhere long at a time. She spent her nights wandering about
the streets and It was while prowl
ing about that she frightened so many women and children. No serious offenses were ever
charged against the woman and when arrested yesterday there was only one thing to do and that was to pro
vide for her by the county's charity. She was taken to the county infirmary on the order of Trustee A. H. McFeely, of Center township. It Is hoped to cure her of the drug habit and to restore her to a useful life. Great relief is expressed in police ! circles since the identity of "The ;

Fealy was with the eminent actor. When she was Introduced to her son (in the play of course,) Sir Henry looked at her rather critically and then at the son, and remarked, "My, but your son is a whopper." Owing to the fact that the laws of England are very strict against young chil
dren appearing on the stage, Miss Fealy suggested getting a dwarf to play the part, instead of the big chap originally cast for it. This Sir Henry thought a capital idea and did as she suggested. In a certain scene of the play, the hero, with the child in his arms, had to make a flying leap across a chasm. The first night, the gentleman playing the hero was very nervous, and kept pacifying the supposed child by saying "There. It will be all right, don't be
