Mr. John Etter was given a pleasant surprise party Tuesday evening at his home on Sheridan street, in honor of his birthday anniversary. Mr. Etter was presented with a beautiful chair by the guests. members of a whist club last evening at her home on South Sth street Whist was played at three tables, the most number of points being won by Mrs. George Gay.
