Shalley spent Sunday with Mrs. G. T. Cats at Williamsburg. Mr. and Mrs. John Medearis who have been visiting relatives in Ohio, returned home on Wednesday. There will be " Christmas exercises in each room of the public schools on next Friday afternoon. STRATE Francis T. Strate, aged 60 yeap, died Monday night at the home, o04 North 22nd street, of heart trouble. The funeral will be Thursday morning, leaving the home at 9 o'clock, going to the settlement four miles north of the city, where the services will be held in the Friends church. Burial will be at the same place. HARTMAN William, the three-weeks-old child of Mr. and Mrs. William Hartman, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at their home, three miles north of the city on the Middleboro pike. The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, sun time. The Rev. Huber will officiate. Burial will be at Lutherania cemetery.
