ARCHITETCT , HASECOSTER ASKS , THAT MR. AND MRS. KELLEY PAY HIM FOR PLANS FOR A HOUSE.., The divorce case of Bonnielee Kelley against her husband John, H. Kellejr in which the plaintiff asks for alimony to the extent of $3,000 and the custody of their two children, vas again postponed in the circuit coudt yesterday morning owing to the nonappearance of the two parties. The case in itself and the domestic troubles of the Kelleys has attracted the attention of .the people of the city, and owing to the fact that after each time Mrs. Kelley has applied for divorce, the couple have become reconciled for the time being, the cases have been dismissed only to bob up again in the course of a fewweeks. On one instance Mrs. Kelley gained quite a notoriety by pleading her own case in the circuit court and asking that the divorce proceedings be dropped. - , Mrs. Kelley asks for legal separation from her husband on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment and Habitual drunkenness. In addition to their divorce case which attracted the attention of the court yesterday, a case was filed against Bonnielee Kelley and John H Kelley. by John Hasecoster the archi tect through his attorney Jesse S. Reeves. Hasecoster claims that the couple owe him $63 for drawing plans for a new and modern residence. He complied with their wishes and drew plans but the Kelleys never called for them. He also asks for the inter est on the money which will make the total amount $70. The case will be heard at this ses sion of the court, along with the dl vorce proceedings in case Mrs. Kel ley decides to press "her suit. Atty. Robbins Statement. It was stated last evening that numerous attorneys had been employ ed by the defendant in the case and all with the exception of Shiveley & Shiveley had proved unsatisfactory. Attorney Byram C. Robbins who was originally employed by Kelley, last night took offense at this statement. Atty." Robbins says that he withdrew from the case voluntarily after he became familiar .with the tactics of the defendant. Atty. Robbins who has been making a splendid record with his law practice used strong language in talking of the case last night. He declared that he had seen Kelley openly abuse his wife and that under these conditions he would not handle the suit. Sec'y. Brown to Speak. An address to working men will be given by Mr. Charles Brown, Y. M. C. A. secretary, Sunday evening: at the Second Presbyterian church. The sub ject of the address will be '"The Working Men's Enemy."
