A Psalm of Thanks. (fey J M. S.) O Lord! We do give Thanks! For Thou hast been the arm of strength On which we leaned full many a passing year; We do give Thanks! For Thou art He Whose ear to pleading doth incline; Who strengthens, helps, and leads and guides Us ever on that far distant goal, The haven of eternal rest and ieace. For those, whose toil worn weary souls Would fain believe their mission

done, Thou dost point on and ever on ' The road that leads unto a lasting rest. Thou art a never failing comfort; And a guide, a, help, a comrade Oft to cheer in our distress. Thou art the All! and All in All To him whose paths are fraught with loneliness. Lead Thou ns on Through dark and stilly night To where the roads diverging show ns light. Then, knowing that our earthly work be done; The river then e'en crossed; for all That yet may come, O Lord! We do give Thanks!
