MISS KARL WILL SING. Young Vocalist will be Heard in Solo At First M. E. Church This Evening.

At the evening service at the First 31. E. church. Miss Caroline Karl will sing a solo. Miss Karl is a young singer who has recently been exciting considerable comment on account of her beautiful contralto voice. Her future would seem to be unusually promising. She will sing "My God, My Father, While I Stray" by Schnecker. The evening anthem will be "Great' and Merciful" by Spinney, and the quartet will sins "Awake,

awake my soul in joyful lays" by Havens. At the morning service Miss Maud Sweet and the choir will sing "Over Just Beyond the Hill-Tops" by Park

Two Men Cremated". Dundee, , Mich., Nov. S. James Chase and Dewitt Van Wormer were burned to death when the residence of Mr. Chase was destroyed by fire. The two men were asleep on the second floor of the house. Couple Asphyxiated. Philadelphia, Nov. 3. Andrew FlaugTrer, 40, and his wife Mary were asphyxiated in their apartments in a boarding house, here today. An investigation indicates that' the deaths were accidental. -

Good Report Received. News from the lease of the Daiblo Gold Mining Company, located near Mono, Cal., 60 miles west of Goldfield, Nev in which company there are quite a number of Richmond men interested, is to the effect that the stock of the company will advance to par value the first of December. The par, value of the stock is $1 Oliver Miller of this cty left some time ago to take charge of the electrical machinery of theplant.

Earl Gaar of this city, left Friday night for Goldfield, Nev., on a prospecting tour. He will visit many of the valuable mining properties lo cated in that district. -

Mr. Kuhn at New Castle Rev. T. H. Kuhn the Democratic candidate for Congress closed the speaking campaign in Henry County at New Castle last night. He was accompanied by a Richmond quartet composed of Messrs, Carver. Walters. Woods and Cox.
