Tomorrow is the last day of the first weefc of the Palladium's voting contest. All ballots that have been cut from the paper during the week ending with tomorrow must be delivered to the Palladium office not later than tomorrow evening at 6 o'clock. Bring them in today if you choose, but as early as possible tomorrow, for the indications are that it will take many hours to count the ballots. The announcement of the standing at the end of the first week will be made Wednesday morning. A new lot will appear in the Palladium Wednesday morning which have August 14 for its expiration date. The second week promises to be warmer than the first. Readers of the Palladium who are not lodge members and who, therefore, may have no personal interest in the awarding of the STARR PLAYER PIANO, may be able to do a friend a favor by cutting the ballots each day and turning them over to this friend who is a lodge member, and who will see that the ballots are voted for nis lodge. Many of the organizations have committees now at work collecting coupons. The race is early; there is plenty of time for lodges to formulate plans and go after the piano. CONDITIONS OF CONTEST. FIRST PRIZE To the secret or fraternal organization in Richmond or in any town in Wayne County, which shall receive the largest number of votes during the period of this contest, a STARR PIANO with MECHANICAL PLAYER ATTACHMENT, built within the piano, will be given absolutely free. The cost of this instrument is $350. SECOND PRIZE To the secret or fraternal organization in Richmond or in any town in Wayne County which shall receive the second largest number of votes, a beautiful lodge altar with elegantly leather bound Bible, valued at $75, will be given absolutely free. THIRD PRIZE To the member of any men's secret or fraternal organization in Richmond or Wayne County who shall procure the greatest number of votes for his lodge, a solitaire diamond ring, costing $75 will be given ansolutely free. FOURTH PRIZE To the lady who is a member of any woman's secret or fraternal organization in Richmond or Wayne County who shall procure the largest number of votes for her lodge, a solitaire diamond ring

will be given absolutely free. HOW VOTING WILL BE CONDUCTED. The contest is free for all. Everybody can vote without the expenditure of a single penny. Each day a coupon will appear in the Palladium on page 4. Fill in the coupon today as a starter, with the name of the secret or fraternal organization and its location. Mail or bring the coupon to the Palladium office, North Ninth and A streets and the vote will be counted as directed The expiration date of each coupon will appear on the face each day.. For instance the coupon appearing today will not be good after August 7. Bear this in mind. Paid in advance subscriptions to the Palladium will entitle such subscribers to special voting privileges in order to assist the lodge of his choice and this will be the method employed: Certificates will be issued with receipts for subscriptions paid in advance. THE PAYMENT OF $1 WILL BRING THE PALLADIUM TO YOUR DOOR BY CARRIER SEVEN DAYS IN THE WEEK FOR FIFTEEN WEEKS AND WILL ENTITLE YOU TO 600 VOTES FOR THE LODGE OF YOUR CHOICE.
