There h bn little change In prices at groceries during the last week. week. Corn, cauliflower, cabDaRC. onions and a few other common iregetables are somewhat lower than it any previous time this summer, 5wlng to larger (supplies. Some berriesraspberries, dewberries, gooseberries and currants are practically out of tho market, while pears are beginning to come In. Green corn is 15c to 20c dozen. Tomatoes are 10c and 15c a pound: celery, rc a stalk. Potatoes are selling at $1.00 a bushel. Young onions are 30c a dozen bunches, radishes 20c a dozen bunches: green beans. 10c a quarter peck, peas, 50c a peck. Cauliflower is 15c to 25c a head, green peppers 20c a dozen, cabbage 5c to 8c a head: beets, three bunches for 10c cucumbers, 5c each; egg plant, 15c cch; spinach, 25c a peck. against 7,889 hogs, 1,759 cattle and 963 sheep a week ago and 7,839 hogs, 922 cattle and 355 sheep a year ago. Receipts of hogs were about the smallest of the week and with an urgent shipping demand, especially for choice light grades, the market opened with sales 5ft 10c higher than yesterday. Receipts of cattle were also smaller than heretofore this week, and there was no Increase in the proportion of good to choice kinds. There was an active demand from all sources for the best selections, and from all sources for the best selections, and from the start they found a prompt sale at staedy to strong prices. - . . .
