Dealers say the bottom has fairly dropped out of the market for green beans. Demand Is ra;r, but supply Is so much larger that prices have dropped to the lowest mark of the season. The best bean that can be had bring only 75c a bushel while ordinary stock Is selling at 50c to 60. New potatoes are $2 50 to S2.75 a barrel and are selling rapidly. Homegrown cabbage is $1.50 to $1.75 a barrel, and 'it never hits the walk." according to dealers. Publishers' Press Indianapolis, July 5. Receipts, 12,0000 hogs, 2.200 cattle and 750 sheep, a week ago and 9,793 hogs, 1,341 cattle and 357 sheep a year ago. Receipts of hogs were comparatively liberal, but there were encouraging reports from other places. Too Many Cattle. There was a liberal run of cattle the largest receipts thus far this year. Several were carried over from Tuesday and altogether there .were 3,000 cattle and calves on sale. Hogs Receipts of hogs were fair today, and under the rather slow and indifferent demand on local packers' account, the market ruled quiet throughout, with packing and butcher lots, and, in fact, all grades, selling at an average of 5c advance over Tuesday's current values.
