HOG MARKET CLOSED 10 TO 15 CENTS LOWER, TRADE BEING WEAK AT THE END. IIub"Ishera' Press Indianapolis, Ind., June 19. Receipts, 10,000 hogs, 1,500 cattle and 350 sheep, against 8,761 hogs, 1,489 cattle and 319 sheep one week ago, and 12,612 hogs, 1,451 cattle and 299 sheep one year ago. The hog market closed 10c to 15c lower. Trade was weak at the end, with salesmen peddling actively for bids. The close of the market was in big contrast to the opening when prices were fully 5c to 10c better than the high time of yesterday. Although there was a good run of hogs in the market, buyers were not active at any time. In the early market the leading buyers did not take kindly to the advance asked by the salesmen, and the latter refused to part with their offer ings even at steady prices. Trade, as a result, was slow in getting started.
