Publishers' Press Cincinnati, May 25. Receipts Cattle, 719; hogs, 3,023; sheep, 1,118. The cattle market today wasn't only quiet, but there appeared to be a general trend toward easier and lower prices. Buyers were unusually indifferent, claiming to have an ample supply of cattle on hand, and complaining of a slow and raggy meat market. Bulls Moderate recess and-prices about steady on good bologna and weak on other grades. Calves Receipts were light today, and, under a good demand, prices went up 25 SOc. Hogs There 'was a fair run of hogs arrived today, but, there were some stale hogs in the pens, carrlew over from previous arrivals, and the demand from local slaughters was only

fair.

Sheep and Lambs The receipts of

lambs were again liberal today. Sheep

however, were scarce, and sold promptly at steady prices.

HOG PRICES JUMPED UP AND BUYERS COMPETE FOR SUPPLYCATTLE WERE SLOW.
