The unfavorable weather interfered to a great extent with the patronage which otherwise might have been much larger. NOT EXPECTED TO COME New Demands of the Remy Company of Anderson, Make It Unlikly That It Will Move Here. There is little chance that th eRemy Electric Company of Anderson, will remove its plant to Richmond. Negotiations have ceased since the Anderson concern boosted its demands in the way of a cash bonus. The-South- Side Improvement Association, however, expects to have another big , concern on the string shortly. Roy Carman Engaged. Word has reached this city that Roy 'Carman, formerly a well known young man of this city, now at Los Angeles is soon to be married to a California young woman. Mr. Carman is now conducting a bowling alley at Los Angeles. -

C.C.&L. STATEMEHT MAKE TO AUDITOR Officials of the Road Say Property in this County Is : Worth $145,339.
TOOLS VALUED AT BUT $50 THE DAYTON AND WESTERN PLACES VALUE ON ITS PROPERTY IN WAYNE AT $600 FIGURES FOR TAXATION. Before the fifteenth day of this month, all railroads operating in this county, or owning land in this county, must file with the Auditor a statement of the value of their property here. The statement must be signed by the officials of. the road and a copy must also be, sent to the State Board of tax commissioners, in Indianapolis who will return the assessment and the County Auditor will figure out the amount of taxes. Yesterday tbe first of. these statements was received at the auditor's pffice. It was the statement . of the C. C. & L. Railway which showed that that company owns; according to its officials, property in Wayne County to the value of $145,339. This includes the right-of-way, track, side tracks, additional real estate, personal property, such as tools, . etc., and rolling stock. No rolling stock was included in the statement covering the property in Wayne County. The right of way was shown to be worth, with tracks and additional real estate, $145,289 and the remaining $50 is the value of all the tools owned by the road in this county. The Dayton & Western statement, which has also teen filed, gives the value of the real estate and trucks as $600. According to the statement, the D. & W, owns jao roiling stock or tools in Wayne county. The other roads have not yet filed their statements but . lt is expected that they will do so within a few days.
