EXCURSIONS PROBABILITY THAT RICHMOND VISITORS WILL GET AD-. V VANTAGE OP LOW RATE. "HOME COMING" FEATURE Reunion of Families Will Be One of , the Pleasant Things of the - Coming Celebration. AC It is understood that the Central Passenger Association will give Rich mpnd the benefit of special excursion rates during the period of the cele bration of the centennial anniversary next fall. The railroad committee has not yet made a report relative to this matter, but from information at hand there is reason to believe that excursion rates will be granted from all cities within a radius of one hundred miles and perhaps a greater distance. The "home coming" feature of the Centennial celebration is to be made one of the most attractive of the week and shoul done-third of the former Richmondites return for a few days' reunion with families and friends, there would be a temporary increase of population of several hundred. The - excursion rate, if granted, will not apply to Ohio, which now has a two cent law. i HIGH SCHOOL NEWS Prof. Albert Jones, teacher in the Commercial department at high school, who lias been out of the city this week on account of the sickness of his father, has returned.
