Local people will recall the canvass, which .was a comparatively small o?ie, as h attracted much attention at the art exhibit of the Richmond Art Association last June. The picture depicts a piece of winter landscape in Glen Miller Park looking east down the road just north of the old log cabin school house. It was painted last winter by Mr. Nordyke. The fame of the Richmond Group of landscape painters still continues to spread throughout the length and breadth of the country. RICHMOND GROUP Of Artists Will Exhibit Pictures at The Marion Exhibit. The "Richmond Group" of artists Messrs. Conner, Bundy Gt'rardin and Nordyke, have been invited to exhibit their pictures which were hung at the St. Louis Exposition at the Art Exhibit of Indiana Artists which will be held in the new library building at Marion, Ind., in the near future. Each of these gentlemen have consented to grant the request of the Marion people. A part of the Japanese exhibit at the Fair will be a feature of the Marion exhibit. The Januita, a freight and passenger steamer belonging to the Erie and "Western Transportation company was launched here today.
