Pryor Mary A., widow of Isaac Pryor, 324 North A street, diedf Snnday morning at the age of seventyseven years. Mrs. Pryor was one of Richmond's oldest residents and had lived in the house in which she died for over fifty years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal church. The plot is a pretty one. The action is lively and the situations sensational, that is, they, have in them more of the human emotion which interests the human heart. The name of the play immediately suggests the idea that it is a picture of life in a certain locality. It is a scene of an Arkansaw farm, and every character is true to nature and not overdrawn. Mr. Sherman has considered - the craving of the public for dramatie action and with that view he has determined to make "My Friend from Arkansaw" one of the strongest dramas ever presented on any stage.
