DTP'S (LDP (D) VOOJJ It is our business to loan money in any amount from $1 to $5000, on any kind of security, for any length of time. Having a large capital of our own money we do not need to ask anyone as to wden or how we shall loan it, but we can do so on any terms and for any length of time we desire. Eighteen years banking experience renders us capable of giving jou almost an immediate answer as to whether or not we can make you a loan. We seldom feel the necessity of any inquiry at all. but when it is made, it is invariably made as a bank. By securing a loan in this manner, you do not have the annoyance of your neinhbors knowing that you are borrowing money, but can be sure of absolute secrecy in the matter. Our large capital enables us to loan at a much lower rate than that usually charged by loan companies, and you know it is to your interest to get a loan wherever you can get it tne cheapest, the same as in buying anything. For instance, if there is a sale on granulated sugar, where you can buy 21 lbs for a dollar instead of 18 lbs regular, there is where you buy your sugar. Why not be just as careful about saving money when you are in need of a temporary loan ? If we get our money out, the price must bring the business, so if you get a loan from us, it will prove a great money saver to you. Call and let us explain our methods. If you cannot call, write or phone us, and our agent will call on you.

Will the National Commission Company Open Again. At the joint meeting of die receiver for the National Commission Company, the officers and stockholders of the company, the creditors and the local capitalists represented by Charles N. Elliott, Thursday at Indianapolis, the affairs of the company were practically settled and arrangements were made whereby business will be resumed by the reorganized company Monday. In the proposition acted on the officers and stockholders of the old company will furnish one-third of the amount of cash necessary to pay 25 per cent, of the indebtedness immediately, and resume business with a cash reserve. The interests represented by Charles N. Elliott will furnish the remainder. Nearly all of the creditors of the company were present and all signed the joint agreement to accept 25 per cent. .isj1 for their accounts with the rest to be paid in three equal installments three, nine and twelve months from now. Edward E. Gates, attorney for the new members of the organization, said that so far as he knew all arrangements for continuing the business would be completed before Monday and that the new organization would continue to hold all of the leases, contracts and brokers who
were on the list of the former company.
F. M. Keteliam, who brought suit for receiver, was chairman of the meeting of creditors, and, with others, has accepted the terms of settlement proposed. It has been agreed that the suit will be dismissed, costs paid and the receiver dismissed Monday unless unforeseen complications
arise,

Six-Day Bicycle Race. New York, Dec. 10. The six-day bicycle race will end tonijrht sharplv at twelve o'clock, as yet it is im
possible to tell whether new records
will be made. Sevitf-al of the rulers although thoroughly tired and worn
out and saving themselves for the final six hours' sprint and some wonderful riding has been between six o'clock and midnight in former years. As the progress of the contest has been watched this week, there is much talk of the aldermen again making an attempt to stop the six-day racees in future on the ground that they are cruel and in
human. An attempt was made to pass such a law this year, but it was too late to be successful. Mayor McClellan having vetoed it.
