An Overtime Game. (Special to the Palladium.) Marion, December 9. Marion defeated Richmond in an overtime game here tonight, 3 to 2. The game . was fast and scrappy from start to finish. In the second period Jessup and Lewis became involved in a little squabble and Referee Arundel told them that a repitition of the offense and he would fire both of them from the floor. He had hardly finished warning the two players when Doherty and Dawson became engaged in a fuss at the other end of the floor. Arundel then made both of them leave the floor. Dawson was relieved by Reagen, and Perry, a Richmond amateur, took Doherty 's place. The first period was lighting fast and neither side was able to score. In the third period Cunningham, jr., caged a goal in six seconds. Lewis scored the winning goal in the overtime period in three minutes and forty seconds. WATCH STOLEN And the Matter Was Reported to the Police. Edward C. Beyer, of Racine, Wis., reported to the police yesterday afternoon that a watch which he had fastened to his automobile had ben stolen. The automobile was standing in West Main street, near Fourth street, when the watch was taken. Several parties in that neighborhood reported that they had seen a mysterious looking man in the neighborhood about the time the automobile was there, but no accurate description could be obtained of the man b the police department.

Matthews Boy Taken in by Indianapolis Cops.
The Indianapolis police force have at last captured the boy by the name
of Matthews, whom the local police
were asked to look for a few months
ago. Matthews was found by the Indianapolis authorities at Marion, Tnd., working in a restaurant. When Matthews was in this city he had a well known attorney go his security on a forged check and he also attempted to steal a horse and buggy from a local livery barn. He stole a suit case full of clothing from the
Arnold Hotel, but the Richmond police recovered the suit case when the
horse and buggy Ave re recovered.
