0TP (LDP "D"(LD VOQJ) It is our business to loan money in any amount from $1 to $5000, on any kind of security, for any length of time. Having a large capital of our own money, we do not need to ask anyone as to wden or how we shall loan it, but we can do so on any terms and for any length of time we desire. Eighteen years banking experience renders us capable of giving j ou almost an immediate answer as to whether or not we can make you a loan. We seldom feel the necessity of any inquiry at all. but when it is made, it is invariably made as a bank. By securing a loan in this manner, you do ,not have the annoyance of yout neighbors knowing that you are borrowing money, but can be sure of absolute secrecy in the matter. Our large capital enables us to loan at a much lower rate than that usually chargtd by loan companies, and you know it is to your interest to get a loan wherever you can get it the cheapest, the same as in buying anything. For instance, if there is a sale on granulated sugar, where you can buy 21 lbs for a dollar instead of 18 lbs regular, there is where you buy your sugar. Why not be just as careful about saving money when you are in need of a temporary loan ? If we get our money out, the price must bring the business, so if you get a loan from us, it will prove a great money saver to you. Call and let us txplain our methods. If you cannot call, write or phone us, and our agent will call on you.

tems Enlarging. The Cincinnati Enquirer printed the following yesterday: The Cincinnati Hamilton and Dayton and Pere Marquette Railroad sys tern has secured another railroad. It is expected that in a few days official announcement will be made by C, H. & D. officials of the purchase of the Detroit Southern. This road runs south from Detroit, Mich., to Ironton, Ohio. The property A present is in the hands of a receiver, Mr. Samuel Hunt, who is a member of the Cincinnati Southern Board of Trustees, with headquarters at Detroit. The road was put into the hands of a receiver early last summer. Mr. Hunt the then President, was made receiv. er. The Detroit Southern has 434

miles. It. taps the great coal district of this state, and passes through such cities as Springfield and Lima. From Columbus Grove the road practically parallels the C, II. and D. to the north.

This property has a capital of $6,-

500,000 4 per cent noncumulative pre ferred and $10,500,000 common.

There is outstanding $6,000,000 pre

ferred and $10,013,000 common. There are also first mortgage gold bonds of $2,SCG,000 against the property, due June 3, 1951. In addition

to the above there are outstanding

about $154,315 Ohio Southern equip

ment notes, which mature at the rate

of $6,050 monthly until 1905. The acquisition of this property will give the C H. & I), and P. M.

system great railroad facilities in the coal center of the state. It is also

stated that the C, H. & D. will se

cure the northern division of the Cincinnati Jackson and Mackinaw

Railroad.

Startling Evidence. Fresh testimony in great quantity is constantly coming in, declaring Dr. King's New Discovery for Consumption, Coughs and Colds to be un equaled. A recent expression from T. J. McFarland, Bentonville, Va., serves as example. He writes: "I had Bronchitis for three years and doctored all the time without bein ben

A prominent club woman, Mrs. Dan-

forth, of St. Joseph, Mich., tells how she

was cured of falling of the womb and its accompanying pains and misery by Lydia E Pinkham's Vegetable Compound "Dear Mrs. Pinkiiam: Life looks dark indeed when a woman feels that her strength is fading away and she has no hopes of ever being restored. Such was my feeling a few months ago when I was advised that my poor health was caused by prolapsus or falling: of the womb. The words sounded like a knell to me, I felt that my sun had set ; but L.ydia E. Plnkham's Vegetable Compound came to me as an elixir of life ; it restored the lost forces and built me up until my good health returned to me. For four months I took the medicine daily and each dose added health and strength. I am so thankful for the help I obtained through its use." Mrs. Florence Dantorth, J.007 Miles Ave., St. Joseph, Mich. A medicine that has restored so many women to health and can produce proof of the fact must be regarded with respect. This is the record of L.ydla E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound, which cannot be equalled by any other medicine the world has ever produced. Here is another case : -

" Dear Mrs. Ptxkiiam : For years I was troubled with falling of the womb, irregular and painful menstruation, leuarrhaja, bearingdown pains, backache, headache, dizzy and
