Ralph Peters, superintendent of
the Panhandle lines has sent letters
of congratulation to the superintend
ents of the several divisions which
without loss of life or limb, handled
the enormous traffic to St. Louis during the World's Fair. He also thanked them for their co-operation in making every detail of the special service a success. He says the Panhandle made an enviable record during the past summer, not only in regard to the revenue secured, but in the methods employed- in handling the traffic. He said the road was more successful in every way than during the exposition at Chicago, and that the higher officials of the company at Pittsburg are greatly pleased with the results obtained.
