It is our business to loan money in any amount from $1 to $5000, on any kind of security, for any length of time. Having a large capital of our own money, we do not need to ask anyone as to wden or how we shall loan it, but we can do so on any terms and for any length of time we desire. Eighteen years banking experience renders us capable of giving you almost an immediate answer as to whether or not we can make you a loan. We seldom feel the necessity of any inquiry at all. "but when it is made, it is invariably made as a bank. By securing a loan in this manner, you do not have the annoyance of youi neixhbors knowing tbat you are borrowing money, but can be sure of absolute secrecy in the matter. Our large capital enables U3 to loan at a much lower rate than that usually charged by loan companies, and you know it is to your interest to get a loan wherever you can get it the cheapest, the same as in buying anything. For instance, ifthere is a sale on granulated sugar, where you can buy 21 lbs for a dollar instead of 18 lbs regular, there is where you buy your sugar. Why not be just as careful about saving money when you are in need of a temporary loan ? If we get our money out, the price must bring the business, so if you get a loan from us, it will prove a great money saver to yrou. Call and let us explain our methods. If you cannot call, write or phone us, and our agent will call on you.

A live topic of interest to commercial travelers just now is the question of a system of universal interchangeable mileage over the interurban lines of Ohio. A start has been made in this direction by the Ohio Interurban Railway Association with headquarters in Lima, in which seventeen lines are interested. The plan
in force by this association is the sale of an interchangeable coupon
book containing $12 in transportation, which is sold for $10.00 Each
coupon is good tor hve cents in
transportation, but not less than two coupons will be detached for any one
trip. The following roads honor
