A GOOD CUMPAtiV The Margaret Neville Co. Pleases a Large Audience at New Phillips. The Margaret Neville company opened last night at the New Philips for a week's engagement to a splendid house, one of the best in fact, that has been at the New Phillips this season; The company is billed as one of the best that ever presented high class repertoire in this city and by last night's bill it holds to its reputation. Every essential needed by a strong theatrical organization was evident, play, players and scenic -effects. Margaret Neville in the dual roll of Hilda Merrick and Louise Leferbe, was splendid and her conception of the character met with a warm-reception on the part of every one in the house. Her support was very good. The specialties between acts were very clever. The act f Cardoc, the axe king was a big hit. lie thrilled and delighted all with his wonderful manipulations of the great Roman axes. The company. is worthy of a croAvded house during the week.
