New Ordinance Needed. ; f Mayor Zimmerman is .anxious ; to have a new ordinance enacted .regulating the burning of leaves. He does not think that leaves should be burned during the afternoon and evening.
An Improvement Noticed in Atanospheric Conditions. Smoke which bedimmed the horizon for so many evenings, due to the projniscous burning of leaves, was notice"

j ho order issued by Superintendent of Police? Oormon yesterdaj to the effect that lio ordinance covering the burning of leaves and rubbish of all descriptions must be complied with under any and all circumstances, probably accounts for the clearing of the sky over Richmond. : The dewy mist, which was later turned to frost, by the cold, was the only thing noticeable in the atmosphere. The sky was clear and the moonlight added to the entrancing nature of the night. in . ' I ' -V, . . . ;r.; As Others. See Up. We have added the Royal Worcester and Bon Ton Corsets These corsets need no" introduction to ladies who have bought corsets in larger cities, as almost every department of any size in the greater cities carry the Royal Worcester and Bon Ton Corsets and can not keep store without them. The repeated calls we have had for. these goods induced us to add this line. i ' ' We have'decided to place these corsets before the ladies of Richmond in two ways FIRST By advertising them in the newspapers; also by sending out letters onqe 'per month for one year to hundreds of Richmond ladies, calling their attention to this superior line of corsets. SECONDrrBy making it our constant aim to show every lady who visits this department why these corsets should be preferred above all others, and why the material contained in them and the workmanship put on them is such as stamps them the' most fit and sanitary undergarment manufactured in the world. There is no figure which can not be fitted with a corset selected from this line. Royal Worcester and Bon Ton Corsets have had set upon them the seal of approval by thousands of dressmakers, because gowns are more satisfactory when fitted over them than over others. Come and be fitted with a Royal Worcester or Bon Ton Corset; also remeriiber we have the exclusive sale of this line, and that they can be found only in the corset department of : .
