Addition to the Hoosier Drill Large Order to Buenos Ayres. The Hoosier Drill Branch of the American Seeding Machine Company will probably build an addition to its present large factory in the near future. Representatives from the general office at Springfield were in the city yesterday looking over the ground and making measurements. Their opinion will be placed before the board of directors of the company which will decide whether the building is to be built or not. The new building will be four stories and will be built on the ground north of the present factory near the railroad. The local factory will increase its working force next week and start to work on an order of 32 cars of goods for Buenos Ayres.

Cause of Lockjaw. Lockjaw, or tetanus, is caused by a bacillus or germ which exists plentifully in street dirt. It is inactive so long as exposed to the air, but when carried beneath the skin as in thee wounds caused by percussion caps or by rusty nails, and when the air is excluded the germ is roused to activity and produces the most virulent poison known. These germs may be destroyed and all danger of lockjaw avoided by applying ChamberIain's Pain Balm freely as soon as the injury is received. Pain Balm is an antiseptic and causes such injuries to heal without maturation and in one-third the time required by the usual treatment. It is for sale by A. G. Luken & Co., and W. H. Sudhoff, corner fifth and Main streets.
The United States Senate will have among its members at the next session five former cabinet officers Senators Knox, Teller, Algar and El-kins.
