attraction the show is ab right, but in a bunch of "big ones" would be lost in the shuffle. "The Midnight Flyer." Manager Murray of the New Phillips has an iron-clad contract with Ed Anderson, of "The Midnight Flyer" company that every piece oi scenery carried for this big production will positively be used. This includes the grand illuminated scene "Brooklyn at Night," "The Mammoth Ship Scene," "The Realistic Ship Wreck," "The Storm at Sea," A GROUP "The Adirondack Mountains in Winter," and the thriling "Railroad Scene.". With such a contract as this our theater going people are as sured a perfect performance in every detail. At the New Phillips Saturday next, matinee and night. Foggs' Ferry. Nearly twenty-two years have elap sed since Minnie Maddern (Mrs. Fiske) first produced the popular comedy, "Fogg's Ferry," at the old Park theater in New York. That the play struck the fancy of the public, is shown by the fact that it has been before them ever since. It will be given here at the New Phillips theater Tuesday night, October 4, by a special cast, with a beautiful environment of new scenery. "Fogg's Ferry," tells a very interesting story of the southwest, is brimming with wholesome comedy, and has climaxes of the most exciting nature, one of which, showing tke explosion of a torpedo under the bows of a river steamer, approaches tile acme of stage realism. -The well known comedienne, Mattie Yickers, has been engaged for the leading role of the ferryman's daughter, "Chip." "The Runaways." Arthur Dun in the famous Shubert musical extravaganza entitled , "The Runaways," which will be seen at the Gennett theater on next Monday evening is easily one of the most elaborate productions ever seen in this country. It was first produced at the famous New York Casino theater, where it ran for more than seven months. Positive assurance is given that we will see the original and only company presenting this remarkable success, upon which the Shuberts ex pended a fortune. "A Thoroughbred Tramp." While the country is burdened the atrically with tramp plays, few have attained any standing with theater; goers. "A Thoroughbred Tramp," which was the very, first in the field, has outlived all its imitators, and nightly proves its popularity with theater goers by being greeted with overflow! tig patronage. But "A Thoroughbred Tramp" contains much interesting dialogue, excellent comedy! and splendid climaxes. The fun is of the uproarious sort, and brings forth

as nothing compared to the staggering, astounding and petryfying realit'. All in all, from the first announcement of the approach of this amusement leviathan to- its final departure, the possible patron is kept in a state of eager, excited and impatient expectancy; on tiptoe, wrought "P, and open mouthed. The Englanf & Hook Moving Pictures will be exhibited at the Oennet theater Saturday, October 1, matinee and night. OF CASINO GIRLS IN "THE "My Wife's Family." Hal Stephens and Harry Linton, two reallv funnv comedians, and a company of pretty girls and clever men, will appear at the Gennett theater on Friday evening of this week in their famous comedy, "My Wife's Family." The play was a big success when first produced; in fact, made Stephens and Linton two of the most prominent farcical, stars in the show business. In the hands of this company, the play has been a greater success than their most ardent admirers predicted. They have surrounded themselves with a capable company of singers, dancers and comedians, and the show is one case of jollity from the rise to the fall of the curtain. Nothing tiresome, everything goes with vim. The songs are all new and the dances artistically arranged. The women are all handsomely gowned, the vocalists are artists, the comedians are funny. The scenery is all special. In fact, there is not a better opportunity to enjoy yourself for two hours and a half than to visit "My Wife's Family." Has Sold a Pile of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy.
