Arrested by Secret Service Officers in Newport. (P3T Associated Press.) Cincinnati, O., September 23. Newton Jones and John Taylor were arrested by secret service officers in Newport, Ky., and charged Avith counterfeiting. The entire outfit was captured. The officers state that the dies were hot when the outlit Avas seized. Beth men are well known residents of Newport. It is said that secret service men have been investigating the circulation of counterfeit coin there for some time.
