Scene in Druids' Jahr Markt. ARRIVE IN THE CITY TOMORROW EVENING OWN SPECIAL TRAIN Jahr Markt Will Be in Full Blost on Monday Evening and Continue All of Next Week. The great Mundy shows which will be the main featm-e of the Druids' Jahr Markt, all next week will arrive over the C, C. & L. railway sometime tomorrow evening, and all will be i nreadiness for the opening on the new., show grounds, corner South Eighth and H streets long before the hour set for the opening of the main gate. Perhaps the following article clipped from the Racine Times of Tuesday, August 30, will convey as good an idea of the greatness and moral standing of Colonel Mundy's aggregation as could, be found just new : "That the Red Men of Racine are wide awake and capable of doing things as they should be done was freely demonstrated last evening when the Mundy Carnival company, which was brought to . this city under their auspices, opened for business. "The best thing that can be said of the show is that, although it was widely advertised, and "boosted" to the skies by the local management, the attraction, unlike the majority of its kind, is everything that is claimed for it and more. There is not one advertised feature that is not produced and the manner in which the entire show is conducted has certainly won the hearts of the amusement loving people of the Belle . City. "Although the carnival company arived in the city too late to get all of their attractions in running order for last night's performance, several of the more prominent attractions were open and the immense crowds that attended were to a man more than satisfied and pleased with the entertainments offered by the great Mundy shows.
