Andrew Menk, Will, George and Elmer Rotliermel with their families attended a school reunion near East Germantown Saturday and report a good time. Mr. and Mrs. George Minor and son Harry attended the Gardner Reunion near Liberty Sunday. Mary King expects to go to Philadelphia to visit relatives and friends. Born, to Bert Carman and wife, a boy. Mr. Clifford Frazeir of California writes home that he is getting along fine both in business and health and times prosperous with them. Emma Reed of Campbellstown, O., visited at Jones' Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Emma Jones and children took their supper at Glen Miller Sunday. Mr. C. II. Bulla and daughter, Bertha, attended the 78th birthday anniversary of Mrs. Marie Hill at Beeehmeyer Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jones were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Reed at Campbellstown, O., Friday night. Mrs. Midia Lawrence Kelley of Los Angeles, Cal., a missionary of Alaska, is now at her brother's, Henry Lawrence, and will visit her sister, Yilpah Ilenshaw at Lynn. Quite a number from here attended the Bible Institute at Earlham. Mrs. Alice Haisley of Arba and Mrs. Will Clements of Fountain City were called here on the account of the serious illness of their sister, Mrs. Joy Charlie Jones, Jr., was at home from Easthaben Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cook entertained quite a number at dinner Sunday from Richmond. Miss Benfeldt of Cincinnati and Harry Jordan were calling here Saturday evening. Lotta Greene and Isabelle Minor of Richmond are bisiting here. C. II. Minor has returned home from St. Louis and Joplin, Mo. He had a very pleasant visit Avith his brother, Theodore, at Joplin. Mrs. Elbert Kemp bisited here Sunday. Martha Bond is geeting along fairly well with her broken arm. Annie Kendall will go to Thorntown soon to make her home with her Uncle, Amos Kendall and daughter. George and Earnest Joy were here this week to see their mother. ' The question of the Greenville and Richmond traction line is again being agitated and Chester folks are living in hopes it will soon be running through our little village. MILTON. Unintentionally the name of Mrs. Anna Huston was omitted in the list of children of the late Mrs. Rhoda Morris in the special to the Palladium. Mrs. Huston lives at Newtonville, Mass., near Boston. L. W. Beeson and wife have gone to St. Louis. The "Old Folks Service" at the Chrstian church Sundav morning was full of interest. Rev. McCormick preached a fine discourse, and the music was appropriate, being the oldtime hymns. A quartette by Mesdames R. F. Callow and L. II. Warren and Messrs. E. P. Jones and E. F. Doty was a pleasant feature. Carriages took the old people who are feeble to and from the service. Rev. McCormick is holding revival meetings at Bentonville. ' Misses Mary Thomas and Louise Summers, of Muncie, are visiting Miss Rachel Thomas. Harry Michael is spending the summer at Marysville, Mich. The stave factory is doing a big business. William Pierson has moved to New Paris, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace and Miss Edna returned Sunday from the World's Fair. Mr. and Mrs. A. Z. Hoffman are at Dayton, Ohio. Rev. D. R. Van Buskirk, of Greensburg, visited G. W. Callaway Sunday and in the evening preached a great sermon at the Christian church on the theme, "Did God Speak to the World; if So What was the Mes
