THE
CONCERT
OF THE HASKELL INDIANS YESTERDAY AFTERNOON
SELECTIONS PERFECT And Wheelock's Work as a Leader Fine Large Repertoire . Of the Band.
Miss Hapgood tells how she was cured
of Fallopian and Ovarian Inflammation and escaped an awful operation by using Lydia E Pinkham's Vegetable Compound "Dear Mrs. Pinkiiam: I suffered for four years with what the doctors called Salpingitis (inflammation of the fallopian tubes) and ovaritis, which are most distressing and painful ailments, affecting all the surrounding parts, undermining the constitution, and sapping the life forces. If you had seen me a year ago, before I began taking Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound, and had noticed the sunken eyes, sallow complexion, and general emaciated condition, and compared that person with me as I am today, robust, hearty and well, you would not wonder that I feel thankful to you and your wonderful medicine, which restored me to new life and health in live months, and saved me from an awful operation.' Miss Irene IIai'uood, 1022 Sandwich St. Windsor, Ont. Ovaritis or inflammation of the ovaries or fallopian tubes which adjoin th ovaries may result from sudden stopping of the monthly flow, from inflammation of the womb, and many other causes. The slightest indication of trouble with the ovaries, indicated by dull throbbing pain in the side, accompanied by heat and shooting pains, should claim your instant attention. It will not cure itself, and a hospital operation, with all its terrors, may easily result from neglect. "Dear Mrs. Ptnkham: lean truly say that you have saved my life, and I cannot express my gratitude to you in words. u Before I wrote to you telling how I felt, I had doctored for over two years steady and spent lots of money in medicine besides, but it all failed to do me any good. My menses did not appear in that time, and
1 suite red much pain. I would daily have fainting spells, headache, backache and bearing down pain, and was so weak that it was hard for me to do my work. " I used your medicine and treatment as directed, and after taking three bottles of Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Com-
fvs V m pound, menses appeared, my womb trouI l Vgr if bles left me, and I have been regular ever I E, XSrW JTA since. I used fourteen horrlps nf
Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable
jSy ' together, and am now restored to
perfect health. Had it not been for vou. I would have been in mv grave.
u I will always recommend your wonderful remedies, and hope that these few lines may lead others who suffer as I did to try your remedies." Mrs. T. C. Willadsen, II. R. No. 1, Manning, Iowa. Such unquestionable testimony proves the power of Lydia E. Pinkbarn's Vegetable Compound over diseases of women.
Women should remember that they are privileered to consult
JPinkham at Lynn, Mass about their illness entirely free.

Yesterday afternoon the smallest crowd of all the concerts was present at the Driving Park to hear the Haskell Indian Band, which gave its 3rd of the series of concerts to be given in this city, under the management of the R S. & I. company. The grandstand was only filled scatteringly, probably not more than one hundred and fifty being present. The slimness of their audience did not, however, seem to affect the Indian musicians, for their playing even surpassed their work of the night before,
if possible. i ' w , The selections were given in a perfect manner, and the ability of Dennison Wheelock as a leader was clearly shown in the manner he handled the forty odd performers, not even a flaw marred the concert, which passed off finely. The band has an exceedingly wide and varied reiertoire, the selections yesterday ranging from 'Hiawaflla,, t " Robin Hood" to "Onjvard Christian Soldiers," but whatever it plays,
it plays well. It is not otten that suck a number of fine players are ollected in a band. Yesterday one of the selections called forth about twenty small, short solos, and these were rendered in a manner that called forth the appplause of the crowd. Just at the close of yesterday afternoon's program, the storm of wind and rain, which had been collecting all afternoon, and which kept many away from the concert, broke and everyone made a rush for the cars, which were instantly loaded to their
fullest capacity.
