Kidney trouble causes quick or unsteady heart beats, and makes cne feel as though they had heart trouble, because the heart r over-working in pumping thick, kidneypoisoned blood through veins and arteries. It used to be considered that only urinary troubles were to be traced to the kidneys, but now modern science proves that nearly all constitutional diseases have their beginning in kidney trouble. "Twelfth Night" is a most amusing comedy in the hands of almost any interpreter of Shakespearean comedy. "Why Girls Leave Home."
Is the title of the play that has been
selected for the attraction at the Gen-
nett tonight. It is a play with a strong lesson and combines all the
qualities which make for success in
melodrama. The story is that of a
young- girl in a small town who leaves
home with a young man in opposition to her parents' wishes, and the various scenes depict in thrilling and
absorbing fashion the adventures and
temptations that befall her in a big
city. The production is entirely new
and the scenery and costumes are
lavish and elaborate. Vance and Sul
livan are managers of "Why Girls Leave Home," and that is assurance of a pleasing production. The com
pany selected to present the play in
Kichmond is one of the best that has
visited this city during the present season. Miss Gallatin in "Ghosts." Ilenrik Ibsen has splendid interpretation of his masterpiece "Ghosts"
at the hands of M iss Alberta Gallatin
and her company who will be seen at the Gennett theater Wednesday.
March 23. Miss Gallatin has tho ad
miration and respect of that portion of the public which knows good plays and good acting when it sees them. It is doubtful if her work in "Ghosts" has ever been excelled. She realizes the author's conception of

Mrs. Pattison and daughter, Mrs. Chase Boyd and baby, of Connersville, visited Miss Bell Pattison and daughter, Blanche, yesterday. Falls Sisters' new trimmers arrived yesterday from the whole sale millinery house in Indianapolis. A large, crowd attended the Lyceum Opera company musical, the fifth number of the Union Lecture association, at the Masonic opera house Wednesday evening. The entertainment, as a whole, was highly appreciated by all present. The violin selections are specially worthy of note.
Owing to the smallness of the hall
compared with the Main street opera
house, where the other numbers of the
course have been conducted, quite a
number could not procure seats. The
next and last number will be Melvin

Love lightens
labor," the saying runs, and in a sense it is true. But even love cannot lighten labor or make it easy for the woman who is in constant suffering front inflammation, bearing-down pains or other womanly diseases. The one thing that can make work easy for women is sound health, and Dr. Pierce's Favorite Prescription is the thing that will give sound health to sick women. Dr. Pierce has so much faith in his " Prescription "
that he offers to pay $500 in legal money of the United States for any case of Leucorrhea, Female Weakness, Prolapsus, or Falling of Womb which he cannot cure. All he asks is a fair and reasonable trial of his means of cure. "I suffered from fomale weakness for five months," writes Miss Belle Iledrick, of Nye, Putnam Co., W. Va. "I was treated by a good physician but he neveY seemed to do me any good. 1 wrote to Dr. R. V. Pierce for advice, which I received, telling me to take his ' Kaorite Prescription' and Golden Medical Discovery.' When I had used the medicines a month, my health was much improved. It has continued to improve until now I can work at almost all kinds of housework. I had scarcely anv appetite, but it is all ripht now. Have gained several pounds in weight. Dr. Pierce's medicines have done wonderfully well here. I would advise all who suffer from chronic diseases to write to Dr. Pierce." " Favorite Prescription " makes weak women strong, sick women well. Dr. Pierte s Common Sense Medical Adviser is sent free on receipt of stamps to pay expense of mailing only. Send 21 one-cent stamps for the paper-covered book, or 31 stamps for the cloth-bound volume. Address Dr. R. V. Fierce. Buffalo, N. Y.
