trips to Highland park is the long

row of catalpa trees along the road.

A catalpa tree is one of the most un

graceful, scrawny, ugly trees of this

entire section, most of the year; but

the beauty of its flowers and their fraerance at this season of the year

make up for it all.

little delay in the matter owing to

some objections being made in regard

franchise is now ready for approval

by the company.
