work of construction along with great activity. Cars are to be run

One of the pretty things about the
trips to Highland park is the long
row of catalpa trees along the road.
A catalpa tree is one of the most un
graceful, scrawny, ugly trees of this
entire section, most of the year; but
the beauty of its flowers and their fraerance at this season of the year
make up for it all.

Eaton Register: The franchise for
the extension of the Dayton & West
ern traction line to Richmond will
be submitted to the traction com

little delay in the matter owing to
some objections being made in regard
to the right of way, but these differ

franchise is now ready for approval
by the company.
