in town, this time for a series o!
three games with the Entre Nous. The first game was plaved yesterday
afternoon before a slim crowd, the visitors winning in a walk by a score of 8 to 3. The Entre Nous put up a listless and uninteresting game, while the Tourists jumped in with a vim and took the game with ease.
A choice bunch of errors by the locals is largely accountable for the loss of the game and there was enough to last the remaining two games. Nation pitched for the
Entre rou3 and was touched up rather lively in two or three innings. Reynolds will pitch this afternoon's game. The game this afternoon will be railed at 3:30 o'clock after the speaking at the Glen, and there will no
doubt be a better crowd than yesterday. The same teams will play the
last game of the series tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock and a good at
tendance should be present to encourage the boys is one of the last games of the season. Don 't forget that tbe last game of the season will be played next Sunday between the Entre Nous and the
Dayton Clippers and the latter team will be strengthened by several league players. The game will be for the benefit of the home players
and the boys should be encouraged with the largest crowd of the season. Yesterday's score was as follows: RUE Tourists 2 0130101 08 11 2 Entre Nous 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 03 4 3 Batteries Altrack, Nieand Dooin; Nation and Earle.
