Hard to Duplicate it in Richmo1. - Scores of representative citizens of Richmond are testifying on the following subject. Such a record of local endorsement is uuequaled in modern times. This public statement made by a citizen is but oue of the many that have preceded it and the hundreds that will follow. Read it: Mrs. C. B. Stevens, 20 north fifth street, says: '"My loins and back were so weak and sore I could hardly keep up and around and was often entirely unable to get up at all. The pains extended through my loins and in the thighs. Severe headaches accompanied by such spells of dizziness were almost of daily occurrence. I was doctoring steadily but without much if any relief. I learned about Doan's Kidney Pills and got a box at A. G. Luken s drug store and began their use. They acted promptly and effectively and the pain soon left my back." Doan's Kidney Pills for sale by all dealers; price 50 cents a box. CORIXSC Corinne, who appeai-s at the Gennett tonight, is one of the) most unctuous comediennes on the American stage, and one may go to witness her performance with absolute confidence that there will be nothing disappointing in the entertainment she will give. Her success lies in thej fact that her power is the outcome of talent rather than acquired art. There is nothing suggestive of artificiality in her hearty mirth, she incessantly bubbles over with spontaneous merriment, and infectiously adds to the enjoyment of ths audience by the evident pleasure which she herself derives from her own work. Prices lower floor 50 75c II. balcony 50 and 75c, gallery 25c ARTISTIC FANNY RICK. A noted ci itic has gone on record as saying: "Fanny Riee has no equal. She is simply irresistible. She is a comedienne iu the same light that Nat Goodwin and Sol Smith Russell are comedians. She bubbles over with fun, and her fun, a positive dynamic force, takes you by the collar and shakes a hearty laugh out of you whether you will or not. She inspires the play with the spirit of her own personality, and the great charm of all is that throughout the performance, while the fun is wildest, there is nothing coarse in her acting; on the contrary she makes manifest a native modesty and delicacy that wins and holds submissive a genuine admiration. She is a thorough artist in every sense of the word." Geunett theatre Thursday, April 5. Prices 25, 50 and 75. Mrs. Minnie Palmer Hamilton, the milliner, will have her Easter opening on next Wednesday, and will display a handsome assortment of spring bouuets and hats. 31-3t Easter novelties, lc to $1 each, at Hathaway 's.
