He was a carpenter, and followed that avocation for years, and worked at Haynes, Spenoer & Co.'s tor some time, and when that establishment waa abut down in consequence ot the fire, he went to the Starr Piano Works, where he was engaged until recently. He had been a member of Webb Lodge ot Masons tor many years, and had advanced in Masonry to the position ol xvnight lemplar. He leaves a wife to mo am her irreparable loss. Foulke would be the essayist of the evening, the Jittjejhall was crowded to its utmost capacity. Mr. foulke read a lengthy and exhaustive reyiew of Henry George's Progress and Poverty. He seemed to agree with Mr. George neaily throughout, except to the remedy to be applied Thia he considered too radical and in terfering too much with exiating private rights.
