Advertising is a good thing, and has made many
a man rich, but when, a anxious for trade, and
got and can not do, he very often starts a boomerang that flies back and knocks the wind out of him, in
stead of a boom. A business experience of many years has taught me that it is useless to advertise unless you can make your claims good, and I do
not pretend to Iiave a branch of someVbig wholesale house, or to carry a $20,000 stock, or to sell twenty
