Miss Lilly Burk, teacher of Bell Center Rchool—MarjQn township No. B—reports for the month that ended Julie 6ih, an enrollment of 13 scholars, with the average daily attendance of 12 4. Those perfect in attendance, punctuality and deliortinent during the month were, jawrence Baker, Willie Clark, Anna Dounelly, Lucy Donnelly, Byron Stackhouse, Lizzie Stackhouse, Bertie Israel, Stella Israel. Miss Virginia* Hogan, teacher of SajlcVschool, Newton township No. 1, feports for the month ending May 31, 1879, tjbo enrolling of 24 scholars; average daily attendance, 22.5. Not a case of tardiness. Henry Daugherty, Eva Sayler, Stella Mnkeever and Nellie Grant perfect in attendance and puncturUty., Eva Sayler, Dorotha Goetz, Nellie Graht, Ilenry Dougherty, Jesse Sayler, Wallace Sayler, Mary St wan, Mary Wnrlhner graded 3 in study and deportment. Miss Madge OBborne, teacher of Marion township school No. 5. reports fertile month endingJuneGth, the enrolling of 24 scholars, with the average daily attendance of 22.5. Allie Brown, Lizzie Huston, Cora Wasson, Mattie Williams, Carrie Welsh, Sarah Williams, Charley Downing, Grace Daugherty, Jlcrtie Daugherty, Belle Williams, Willie Williams, Lena Malcbow, Charles Jacks, were perfect in conduct, attendance and punctuality. Mias Madge Osborr.e teacher of school No. 5 Marion township, reports for the term ending June 20th, 1879, the enrollment of 24 scholars, with the average daily attendance of 23. These neither absent nor tardy during entire term were Lena Malchow, Carrie Welsh, Charlie Dbwrring, Charles Jacks, Willie Williams, Cora Wasson, Mattie Williams, Sarah Williams, Bertie Daugherty and BeUe Williams. School closed with a picuiu which* all greatly enjoyed. Mrs. Anisin Pillars, teacher of No. 4, Marion township, reports the enrollment of 35 scholars for the month ending June 9th. The average daily attendance was 32. It will be followed immediately by the Jasper County Teacher’s Institute. Mr. Beery has’ withdrawn from the corps of teachers and his place will be tided by Mr. D. B. Newels. Messrs. Allen, Snoddy will spare no pains to make this the most successful ses-. sion ever held in the county.
