Temperance Meeting.

The regular monthly meeting of the Jasper County Temperance Union for April, 1879, will be held in the Methodist Episcopal church Monday evening, 7th inst. The programme will be as follows: Music by the Methodist Episcopal church choir. Prayer by Rev. W. Music l>y the ladies* orchestra. Reading of scriptures by the vice-president, Mrss Candace Boroughs. Song by Misses Nora Hopkins and Etta Imes, with an accompaniment by Miss Rosa Eaker. Address by lion. R. S. Dwiggins. Music by ladies orchestra baud. Declamation by Miss Ella Osborne. Solo by Miss Lola Moss. Declamation by Prof. E. G. Bean. Music by ladies’ orchestra band. Address by Rev. W. G. Vessels. Musie by the Methodist Episoopal olmrch choir. Essay by John L. Makeever.
