HENRY FISHER & SONS, MANUFACTURERS OF DRAIN TILES RI\SBGtAER, ixdu\a. IVjil have hu (uigortineiit of Drain Tiles readr f r delivery about the first of May, 1879. 'i'bc aenior number of on- linn recently made a trip through the southeastern part, us Indiana, where Tiles are extensively manufactured and-used, fur the] urpose of learning how cheaply they could le mude and return a reasonable profit to the manufacturer. As a result of these observations we have decided to oiler our goods at the following EXCEEDINGLY LOW PRICES; r 3 inch, per rod.. 25 cents. 3J “ “ “ A... 30 cents. .4 “ “ “ ... .". 35 cents. 5 “ “ “ 45 cents. 0 “ “ 60 cents. 7 “ “ “ 70 cents. At (hese prices all can underdrain with profit. It lias been fully established that lands thus improved will pay 50 per cent, each year upon the cost of improvements, not to mention ihe advantage and pleasure of being able at all times and seasons to cross over fields without miring teams. Every farmer should pul in at least one underdrain and satisfy himself*i>T their great utility. So man who tries Die draining evar regrets having done so; but their use is a constant recommendation fi r their more axtensive Employment. llexr.fc-Fwnsr & Son’s Tile Factory is one mile aDd a half northwest of the town of Rensselaer. TESTIMOKTIAIj. I have in successful operation on my farm, five miles cast of Renaselacb, more than 100 rods of'draining tile. I bought 53 rods at Broekston, Indiana, nnd the rest of Mr. Henry Fisher, near Rensselaer. I consider the tile made by Mr. Fisher as good, if not superior, to any made in the state of Indiana. The land Which I have drained is lVw, flat pritirie, with some quicksand. There has been a continual flow of wr.'iter from the mouth of the ditch all w'nter, somewhat resembling a One spring. I think that with a gradual fall, good outlet nnd proper care, airy of the quicksand lands of Jasper county can le successfully underdrained. , Harvky W. lVoon, Recorder Ju-per County, Ind.
