—Bev. John McLeod, of the Southwestern Presbyterian Church In Philadelphia, recently gave his congregation his views about mouhiing and funerals. He disapproves of whole families “going into mourning,’’ but he believes 3n symbols of mourning, and thinks that a band of crape around the hat, or a black ribbon on the dress is allsufficient for the purpose. He also deplored expensive funerals, and said that all funerals should take place in churohes, And not from private houses.
