Pursuant to tall the national greenback central committee of Jasper county met in the office ol Thomas Boroughs, Esq., SaturJav, May IStli, 187 N, ami was called to order by the chairman who stated the business which they were assembled to transact. It was resolved to hold n delegate convention at the'court house in lienstelaer, June 22d, to nominal!) h county ticket. This convention will be composed of two delegate? from each township of I lie ivainiy and one addi'ion d d- legi-to for each fitly voter or fra, tion of titty of twenly-ttvo or over, upon the basis of the total number of voltta polled in the several townships 'in JB7li; together with an equal nunila-r of alternate delegates. Priitinry elections will be held in the several townships on Saturday, June 15th, to choose delegates to the county convention. The committee proceeded to fill vacancies in -the central committee by the appointment of Calvin White nnd Daniel Brown, of Newton township; Peter Folks and John A Benson, of Mitroy; Geo. H. Brown, jr., of llarkley; and Lorenzo Tinkhsm, of Walker.
