Religious Meetings.

Elder H. V. Reed will preach in the Christian church Saturday erening, April filh, and Sunday, April 7th, at the usual hoar for morning services; also Sundnynflernoon and evening. Rev. Thomas Vanacoy, of the Methodist Episcopal church, announced on last Sunday evening that he had been preaching nearly every day for the past twelve weeks; that sixty-nine or seventy additions had been reoeived bv the churcnesof his circuit during this period, nearly all of whom were new conversions, and a large proportion bends of Amities. An interesting protracted meeting, conducted by him, is now in progress two miles sod a half southeast of town at tbs Babcock school bouse.
