At a public meeting hold at the couri house In Rensselaer, on Wednesday afternoon, February oth, 1878, for the purpose of milking nrrungeniente for the formal opening of the 1., 1). St C. It. H., A. I), Hopkins was appointed to prepare u programme of exercises, anj reported the following, which wus adopted. Ist,' Organization at 10 o’clock a. m. 2d. Oration. 3d. Song. 4th. l’utdic dinner. 6th. Toasfs and responses, music, tongs, etc., etc. ■ —The exercises will be eomluetod under the supervision of Alfred Thompson, gentral manager, and a corps of üblo assistants.
