Each tax-payer may pay the full amount of his taxes on or before the 3rd Monday in April, 1878, or may at his option pay onehalf thereof, </ith the whole of Lis route tax, on or before the said 3rd Monday in April, and the remaining one-half on or before the j Ist Monday <>l November fvllowiag, bill upon failure to pay the first one-half by said 3rd Monday in April, then the whole tax beI con.es delinquent, and the ponullv will be a ided nnd collected as heretofore.
